The number of patients with kidney disease continue to increase across the US. This continues to create the need for more providers to assume care of these patients.

Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) do not receive extensive nephrology training in their NP and PA programs. After successfully onboarding more than 50 APPs in our large nephrology practice since 2010 and requests for assistance with APP onboarding from other nephrology practices, the development of our flagship program, Ready for Rounds, began in 2020 to provide not only foundation nephrology APP education, but also to provide APPs with the fundamentals needed to successfully transition into their provider role in a nephrology practice.

We have now expanded our educational offerings to also assist with successful transition into nephrology office settings in our Cleared for Clinic program.

We truly believe that with fundamental nephrology education APPs can integrate and become successful members of their nephrology practice settings.
